About Us

Trica L. Peterson, Ph.D., ABPP is a Board Certified Forensic Psychologist through the American Board of Professional Psychology. She completed her undergraduate training in psychology at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. After several years of working with children and youth in residential treatment, Dr. Peterson completed her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB).  

Throughout her doctoral training and subsequent experience, Dr. Peterson has worked with adolescents and adults in inpatient, outpatient, and forensic settings, providing individual and group therapy services as well as evaluation services. She has counseled and evaluated clients of varying ethnicities, ages, abilities, sexual orientations, diagnoses, educational levels, financial means, and goals.  

She is an experienced forensic evaluator and expert witness who is regularly retained by attorneys for both the prosecution and defense.
